Our work focuses on education, planning, organization, advocacy, and skill-building to reduce overwhelm and empower families to make confident decisions.

To empower families with individualized, strengths-based coaching and advocacy that simplifies navigation of education, disability, and care systems, while promoting accessibility, inclusion, and equity across communities.
Our Background
Lopez Family Support Services, LLC was created to provide neurodiversity-informed coaching and advocacy services for individuals and families navigating disability, special education, and life transitions. Our work is grounded in both professional training and lived experience, with a focus on practical, strengths-based support that helps families feel informed, empowered, and supported.
The practice is led by Paije Lopez, a Certified Neurodiversity Coach, Certified Human Rights Consultant, and Special Education Advocate. Paije is also the Founder and Executive Director of The ATA Lopez Foundation, a nonprofit organization established to address gaps in advocacy, education, and direct family support for those raising children with disabilities and neurodivergent needs. Through her leadership and advocacy work, Paije has supported families across the Baton Rouge area and surrounding parishes and has developed a deep understanding of the challenges families face when navigating complex systems.
Paije also holds an Autism Certificate (AC) through IBCCES and has completed extensive professional training in neurodiversity-affirming practices, autism education, AAC, PDA, child development, caregiver support and more. Her approach emphasizes education, skill-building, and empowerment rather than clinical, diagnostic, or therapeutic services.
Services provided through Lopez Family Support Services, LLC are fee-based and designed for families seeking individualized, ongoing support. All services are non-clinical, non-diagnostic, and intended to complement—never replace—medical, therapeutic, or legal care.
Our Connection With The ATA Lopez Foundation
Lopez Family Support Services, LLC operates independently from The ATA Lopez Foundation. While both organizations are led by Paije Lopez and share a commitment to supporting neurodivergent individuals and families, they serve different roles.
The ATA Lopez Foundation is a nonprofit organization that provides free advocacy education, caregiver support, community programming, and direct assistance based on availability and funding. Lopez Family Support Services, LLC offers comprehensive, fee-based coaching and advocacy services for families seeking individualized, ongoing support.
This structure allows each organization to operate ethically and sustainably while ensuring families can access support at multiple levels based on their needs.
